asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if the proposed amalgamation of six international air companies in Europe will have any effect on any agreements in relation to airport facilities which this country has with the countries involved.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Airport Facilities.
1.
Existing Agreements between this country and other European countries relate to air traffic rights and not to airport facilities. From the information at present available, it is not possible to forecast what the effect on those agreements might be of an amalgamation between several international air lines, if such should come about. The situation is being kept under observation.
