The latest date for which the information requested by the Deputy is generally available is the 31st March, 1959. In the case of Wexford County Council figures are not available for this date, as a general revision of the Council's general medical services register was then being undertaken and the information is for the 16th April, 1959. In respect of Cork, Dublin and Waterford, the information given is for the Boards of Assistance and Board of Public Assistance administering the general medical services in these areas. The administrative areas of these Boards include the County Boroughs and separate figures are not available for the counties.
