asked the Minister for Education if he will state the number of boys and girls undergoing (a) secondary education and (b) vocational training in 1950, and in the nearest available year for which returns are available.

The number of boys and girls on rolls (a) in Secondary Schools and (b) in whole-time day courses in Vocational Schools in the school-years 1949/50 and 1957/58 was as follows:—

(a) Secondary Schools
