The acquisition of this estate was considered some few years ago and the Land Commission then decided to take no action; as the lands are now offered for sale the Land Commission are reviewing the matter.
Could the Minister state whether there is any hope that the Land Commission will review the position and consider purchasing?
I shall certainly ask the Land Commission to examine the whole position with a view to possible acquisition.
