Vol. 176 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 25, 26, 12, 13 and 11. It is proposed that consideration of Government business be not interrupted at the time fixed for taking business of private Members.

I should, perhaps, inform the Dáil that on the conclusion of the business of the session it is proposed to adjourn until October 21st 1959.

Would the Taoiseach say when the appointment of the new Minister will come before the House?

To-morrow.

Do I understand it is desired to conclude the Appropriations Bill to night?

I gather there has been some discussion between the Whips and I understand it has been considered possible to complete this evening the business ordered for to-day. The Whips tell me that they have arranged to meet later to-day to consider whether that might not necessitate a motion to sit later than the usual hour.
