Vol. 176 No. 13

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 13, 6, 14, 7, 15, 8, 16, 9, 17, 10, 18. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m. It is proposed to interrupt business after Questions to take No. 4 and, when completed, to resume the order.

Do I understand the Taoiseach to say that the order is 1, 2, 3, 4?

Yes. No. 4 is being ordered for today but is being taken after Questions.

Even if Nos 1, 2 and 3 are finished before 11 a.m., we do not take No. 4?

Not until after Questions.

It sounded as if you were anticipating that Nos. 1, 2 and 3 would take until after Questions.

I should hope not.

When will the new Minister be nominated?

After Questions. That is No. 4.

In fact, No. 13 is the first substantial item of business.

That is right.

Do I understand that the wording of No. 4 is completely accurate? We were led by the Taoiseach to believe that there would be something different.

Well, no; that is, as far as the Dáil is concerned.
