Vol. 177 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Attendance by Ministers at Public Functions.

7.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state (a) the number of public functions in the State and abroad attended by him or by other members of the Government since 1st July, 1959; (b) the member or members of the Government who attended each function; (c) whether any State officials were present, and, if so, the number on each occasion; and (d) the total cost to the State on each occasion.

The expression "public functions" used in the Deputy's Question is not sufficiently precise to indicate with any exactitude the type of information that he requires. If he will give notice of a Question containing a more precise definition of what he has in mind, I shall consider what information can be supplied.
