asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will give details of proposed improvements on the State farms planned for the financial year commencing 1st April, 1960, in the form of a reply of 28th October, 1959.

The details requested are as follows:

PARTICULARS of Farm Improvements, Land Rehabilitation, Drainage and Reafforestation Schemes proposed to be carried out in the financial year commencing on 1st April, 1960, on State farms administered by the Department of Agriculture.

on these projects will continue for a number of years.

NOTE.—State farms in respect of which expenditure on Schemes of the above-mentioned nature is not contemplated in the 1960-61 financial year are not included in the Statement.
