83.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state in respect of each county and each county borough in respect of a recent period as regards evening classes in vocational schools, the number of such schools where evening classes are held and, if particulars are readily available, the total number of evening classes.

The attached table shows the number of centres, permanent and non-permanent, in which evening classes were held in the school year 1957/58, the number of classes held in these centres and the number of pupils in these classes.
