Vol. 178 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Outer Seven Trade Association.

1.

asked the Taoiseach if he has seen a statement by the President of the British Board of Trade that it was hoped to reach agreement on the Outer Seven trade association in Stockholm next week; and if he is now in a position to state what the relationship of this country will be to the new association.

It has been known generally for some time that it was hoped that the Convention on the proposed European Free Trade Association would be agreed in Stockholm this week. It is too early yet to answer the second part of the Deputy's question.

Does the Taoiseach think he will be in a position to answer the question, say, next week?
