Approximate figures of milk deliveries to creameries are collected weekly but not by calendar months. The figures for each period of four weeks from the 1st January to the 5th November in the years 1956, 1957, 1958 and 1959 are contained in a tabular statement which I propose, with the permission of the Leas-Cheann Comhairle, to have circulated with the official Report.

For the period 1st January to 12th November, the quantities were 266,491,000 gallons in 1958, and 236,630,000 gallons in 1959. The 12th November is the latest date to which figures are available, so far, for 1959.
