Vol. 178 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Ferry Bridge, Ballyduff (Kerry).

26.

asked the Minister for Local Government if a contract has been arranged for the erection of Ferry Bridge, Ballyduff, North Kerry; and, if so, if he will state the cause of delay in commencing the work of erection of this bridge; and when such work will commence.

The county council were advised on 10th August that there was no objection to their proposal to accept a certain tender for this work. Subsequently a question arose between the county council and the proposed contractor as to the method of prestressing, and the county council referred the matter to my Department on 17th instant. A decision will issue as early as possible.
