Vol. 178 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Incident in Cork Restaurant.

30.

asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to a recent incident in a Cork city restaurant where members of the Defence Forces were refused service because they were in uniform; and, if so, whether he has had enquiries made into the incident; and what steps he proposes to take in the matter.

My attention has been drawn to the incident referred to by the Deputy and I have made inquiries regarding it.

The matter is at present the subject of correspondence between my Department and the solicitor acting for the restaurant in question.
