I understand from Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta that the procedure next year for contracting for beet sugar will be the same as obtained this year i.e. first priority will be given to satisfactory regular beet growers for their normal acreage. Any remaining acreage that may be available will be allotted in accordance with a priority agreed with the Beet Growers' Association.
