Vol. 178 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Newport (Tipperary) National School.

96.

asked the Minister for Education what the present position is regarding the proposed new national school at Newport, County Tipperary.

A report is awaited from the Commissioners of Public Works as to the suitability of a site which has been offered for the proposed new national school at Newport, Co. Tipperary. If the site is regarded as suitable certain further preliminary arrangements will have to be made before my Department will be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the erection of the new school.
