Written Answer. - Agricultural Workers in Mental Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state the mental hospital authorities who have granted an increase of 6/- a week to agricultural workers this year, and the mental hospitals where (a) no increase was granted and (b) where increases other than 6/- were granted.

The following mental hospital authorities granted an increase of 6/- per week to agricultural workers this year: Ardee, Ballinasloe, Castlebar, Clonmel, Cork, Enniscorthy, Grangegorman, Kilkenny, Killarney, Letterkenny, Limerick, Monaghan, Mullingar, Port Laoise, Sligo and Waterford.

The following mental hospital authorities granted no increase to agricultural workers this year: Carlow, Ennis.

No increase other than 6/- per week was granted this year to agricultural workers by any mental hospital authority.

I am giving notice that I wish to raise question No. 76 on the Adjournment.
