Vol. 179 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Coleman Estate (Meath).

42.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission propose to institute proceedings for the acquisition of the Coleman Estate at Mulgeeth, Enfield, County Meath.

It has not been possible to indentify the estate mentioned from the particulars supplied. Perhaps, the Deputy has in mind a holding owned by a family of the same name in the adjoining townland of Mucklon, Co. Kildare. The Land Commission had proceedings for the acquisition of these lands in 1955, when they were in different ownership, but the owner's objection was allowed. There are now no acquisition proceedings in respect of these lands.
