A physical survey of the embankment systems at Inch Level and Blanketnook, County Donegal, has been completed and tidal and hydrological investigations are well advanced.
Work on the design of a scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945, has been going ahead as far as the information gathered to date has permitted, but it is not possible at this stage to forecast when a scheme, if one is found to be feasible, may be commenced.
