Vol. 180 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Blacksod (Mayo) Slip.

31.

asked the Minister for the Gaeltacht when it is proposed to erect at Blacksod, County Mayo, the slip sanctioned therefor in February, 1957.

Ós cosúil anois go bhfuil athrú intinne tagtha ar chuid de mhuintir na háite i leith an tsleamhnáin atá beartaithe le haghaidh an Fhóid Duibh, tá socair agam go ndéanfar athbhreithniú ar an togra seo amhail mar a gealladh sa bhfreagra a thugas ar cheist den tsórt céanna ón Teachta ar an 12 Samhain, 1959.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to raise the subject matter of Question No. 6 on the adjournment.

The Chair will communicate with the Deputy.

Might I ask the Taoiseach a question on this occasion? A rather odd situation has arisen in connection with Papers on the Table. There is a statutory presentation under the State Property Act, to which Deputy Rooney wishes to move an amendment. There are only seven days provided in the Act. Does that carry an implication that the Government will provide Government time, if necessary, to discuss a motion put down?

Then the matter can be raised on the Order of Business on Tuesday.
