asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of the National Farm Survey 1957-58 particulars as to the number of tractors on farms in the various size groups, and in respect of the farms over 100 acres in size the average acreage per tractor.
The particulars of the number of tractors returned in the closing inventories of the farms included in the 1957-58 National Farm Survey are given, for each size-group, in the following statement. The average acreage farmed (unadjusted) per tractor on the farms having these tractors was 126 acres in the 100-200 acre size group and 202 acres in the over 200 acre size group.
