Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Prices of Farm Produce.

andMr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture if in view of the Taoiseach's recent statement regarding an improvement in the income of farmers he will state the increases which farmers will get for milk, pigs, turkeys, poultry, eggs and grain.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when it is proposed to increase the prices of farm produce as announced by him on the Vote on Account.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is in a position to state the new prices for agricultural produce foreshadowed in the Taoiseach's recent speech.

20.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that liquid milk producers in the Dublin sales area have got no increase in price since 1953, and that the present average of 2/4?d. a gallon is wholly uneconomic; and if it is his intention to give them a substantial increase in the near future.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 17, 18, 19 and 20 together.

I hope to make an announcement within the next few weeks.
