Vol. 180 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 8, 9, 3, 10 and 11. If not already reached, it is proposed to interrupt business at 6.30 p.m. to take Nos. 9, 3, 10 and 11, and to resume at 7.30 p.m. on No. 8, and when completed, to continue with Nos. 9, 3, 10 and 11 at the point reached at 7.30 p.m.

Would it be convenient for the Taoiseach to tell us whether and when he proposes to make a statement on the trade discussions that have been taking place in view of the desirability that he should give us some such statement before the adjournment?

It is certainly my intention to make a statement at the appropriate time but I cannot say when. It now seems extremely unlikely to be made before Easter.
