asked the Taoiseach if he will state the retail prices at (1) mid-May, 1951, (2) mid-May, 1954, (3) mid-February, 1957 and (4) mid-February, 1960, respectively, of (a) bread per 2 lb. loaf, (b) flour per stone and (c) creamery butter per lb.

The following are the national average retail prices of the commodities specified as ascertained for the calculation of the Consumer Price Index numbers at the dates in question. The prices relate to a quality in substantial demand in the areas reported.
