The heating of State buildings generally comes under the jurisdiction of the Minister for Finance. I have no function in the matter.
In the case of semi-State bodies, this is a matter of day-to-day administration and any enquiries in the matter might be addressed to the bodies concerned.
Is the Minister reluctant to disclose the position with regard to the amount of money spent on imported fuel in comparison with the amount of money spent on native fuel by the Government Departments concerned?
That is a separate question.
