The total numbers of passengers embarked, disembarked and in transit at Shannon Airport for the first quarter of 1960 were 6,300, 4,493 and 58,295, respectively. The corresponding figures for 1959 were 5,575, 4,040 and 48,942.
Whilst the traffic to date for 1960 shows a satisfactory upward trend compared with a year ago, it is as yet too early to form any reliable estimate of what the overall position is likely to be for the year as a whole.
