Vol. 181 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of Dunkellin (Galway) Catchment Area.

9.

asked the Minister for Finance when a scheme for the drainage of Dunkellin catchment area, County Galway, is likely to receive consideration under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945.

I cannot say at present when the Dunkellin catchment can be reached in the arterial drainage programme—its turn is coming but it will be a few years yet.

Could the Minister say what number it is on the priority list, or would he say it?

The only thing I can say at present is that it will be a few years before it will be reached.

Would the Minister make that priority list available if he were asked for it?

I think it has been made available on more than one occasion.
