andMr. O'Malley asked the Minister for Lands what proposals are at present being examined by his Department regarding the acquisition of land in County Limerick for forestry development, and the present position in each case.

The Forestry Division of my Department is dealing with 84 offers of land for afforestation purposes in Co. Limerick. The total area involved is 4,975 acres. At a recent date the position in these cases was as follows:
