Vol. 182 No. 5

Committee on Finance. - Vote 26—District Court.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £72,710 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on 31st day of March, 1961, for such of the Salaries and Expenses of the District Court as are not charged on the Central Fund (7 Edw. 7, c. 17, sec. 3; No. 27 of 1926, secs. 49, 50 and 66; No. 15 of 1928, sec. 13; No. 48 of 1936, secs. 51 and 77; No. 4 of 1946, secs. 35 and 36; No. 21 of 1946; No. 8 of 1951; and No. 32 of 1953) and for a Capitation grant.

May I ask for a reassurance that the matter mentioned by me with regard to the District Courts will be looked into by the Minister?

Vote put and agreed to.
