Dáil Éireann debate -
Thursday, 9 Jun 1960

Vol. 182 No. 7

Message from Seanad.

Seanad Éireann has passed the Dogs (Protection of Livestock) Bill, 1960 with amendments.

I propose to accept the amendments.

Tomorrow morning. I remember the Taoiseach on a previous occasion stating that he demurred strongly against adopting the amendments from the Seanad——

If the Deputy follows my example he will never go wrong.

——on the same day and, in deference to those urgent representations from so exalted a source, I would suggest that this matter be dealt with tomorrow morning.

Ordered: That the amendments be taken on Friday, 10th June.
