Planning of the building to house a Cobalt Therapy Unit at St. Luke's Hospital is nearing the final stages. It should be possible for the Cancer Association of Ireland to invite tenders for the construction work within the next few months.
The type of unit to be installed has been selected and the order for its supply has been placed.
