In the ten years ended 31st March, 1960, the number of new boats issued to hire purchasers by the Irish Sea Fisheries Association, Limited, and An Bórd Iascaigh Mhara was 103 and their total cost was £783,289. With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report a statement showing the number of these boats allotted to each port. I understand that the other information sought by the Deputy is not readily available, and I would suggest that he communicate with An Bórd Iascaigh Mhara in the matter.
