Return to Writ—Carlow-Kilkenny. Introduction of New Member.

The Clerk made the following announcement:—
I gcomhlíonadh Buan-Ordú 134 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann i dtaobh Gnó Phoibli tá orm a chraoladh gur toghadh Pádraig Ó Téacháin chun na Dála sa Chorrthoghchán a bhi ann an 23 Meitheamh, 1960, do Dháilcheantar Contae Cheatharlach-Cill Chainnigh in ionad an Teachta Seosamh Ó hAodha, a fuair bás.
In compliance with Standing Order 134 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that Patrick J. Teehan has been elected to the Dáil at the by-election held on 23rd June, 1960, for the County Constituency of Carlow-Kilkenny in place of Deputy Joseph Hughes, deceased.
Deputy Patrick Teehan, the new Member for the constituency of Carlow-Kilkenny was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy Ó Briain and took his seat.
