Vol. 183 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonakilty School.

18.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed new school at Clonakilty, County Cork, will be erected.

The arrangements for the erection of the school for infant boys at Clonakilty are in the hands of the Commissioners of Public Works. I understand that the Commissioners expect to be in a position to invite tenders at a very early date. Following receipt and examination of the tenders a contract for the erection of the new building will be placed.

While I am not in a position to say when building operations will commence I do not anticipate that there will be any undue delay.
