Vol. 183 No. 13

Supplementary Estimate, 1960-61. - Vote 7—Office of the Revenue Commissioners.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £1,623,400 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1961, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Revenue Commissioners, including certain other Services administered by that Office.

Might I just point out that the Minister is taking an extra £250,000 for the purpose of more successively wringing taxes out of the people?

That is fairly good business, is it not?

If you call it business.

Vote put and agreed to.
