Vol. 183 No. 13

Additional Estimate, 1960-61. - Vote 18—Law Charges.

I move:—

That a sum not exceeding £88,910 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1961, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Office of the Attorney General, etc., and for the Expenses of Criminal prosecutions and other Law Charges, including a Grant in Relief of certain Expenses payable by Statute out of Local Rates.

Does this include the Singer blunder which cost £12,000?

(Interruptions.)

Deputy Davern apparently does not know that people have lost their money.

You have no sympathy for them.

Are you trying to get Singer off?

Deputy Sweetman, and Deputy Coogan should not invest their money in such things.

Vote put and agreed to.
