asked the Minister for Local Government what the position is regarding the water supply and the extension in the system considered necessary for Tullamore, Offaly; and what steps are being taken in the matter.

I understand that the scheme for improving the water supply to Tullamore, including the provision of a supplementary source of supply from the Gorragh River, has been completed and is functioning satisfactorily.
