Vol. 185 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grattan Hill Dispensary, Cork.

1.

asked the Minister for Health if he has received proposals from the Cork Health Authority for the replacement of Grattan Hill Dispensary, Cork City; and, if so, if he will state the present position in the matter.

In September, 1958, my Department approved of a proposal of the local authority to replace the existing unsuitable dispensary premises at Mahoney's Avenue, adjacent to Grattan Hill, Cork. The local authority subsequently suggested the acquisition of a site which I considered unsuitable and they are at present endeavouring to obtain an alternative suitable one. My Department will deal expeditiously with any such proposal when received.
