Vol. 185 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity Supply for Woodlands (Kildare).

41.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power if he is yet in a position to state when a supply of electricity will be provided for residents at a Woodlands, Rathangan, County Kildare.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that they have completed their examination of an application made on behalf of a number of residents of Woodlands and that terms for supply are being quoted to the persons concerned. If the terms quoted are accepted it should be possible to extend supply in about four months. I understand that this information has now been communicated to the Deputy by the Board.
