asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is now in a position to make a statement on the result of his representations to the British Government on the apparent violation by them of article 5 of the 1948 Trade Agreement by putting a levy on Irish exports of sugar and sugar products to Britain; and, if not, when he expects to reach a satisfactory solution.
