Vol. 186 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Capital of Industrial Undertakings.

35.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the nominal capital of each of the firms listed in replies of 13th December, 1960.

I assume that the question relates (a) to the list of 83 industrial undertakings which came to notice as having commenced production in the period from 1st July, 1958, to 30th June, 1960, and (b) to the list of 14 factories which were in course of construction on 30th June, 1960, and which had commenced production by 13th December, 1960. With the exception of those undertakings named in the statement which I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have circulated with the Official Report, all the other undertakings mentioned in the lists are either registered companies particulars of the share capital of which may be obtained by the inspection of the records in the Companies Registration Office, Dublin Castle, or Industrial and Provident Societies particulars of the share capital of which may be obtained by the inspection of the records in the Registry of Friendly Societies, Kildare Street.

Following is the statement:—

Undertakings which are not companies or Industrial and Provident Societies.

M/S Richard Nelson & Co.; Geepacks (trade name property of J. & L.F. Goodbody Ltd); Irish Wire Wool; Blessington Handweavers; Duffner Bros; John Mulligan; Red Rose Products; Precision Instruments; Hans F.E. Soese; Youghal Pottery; Mr. J. O'Brien; Elaine Styles; Swan Engineering Co.; Josef Polgar; L. Donegan; Mr. O'Connor and others; The Coleman Rug Co.; Mr. Malachy Larkin; The British Rototherm Co.

Question Nos. 36 and 37 postponed.
