I have received a proposal from the Galway County Council to dispose of a plot of land at Killaan, Woodlawn, Co. Galway. The resolution of the county council to dispose of the land in question is not in accordance with the procedure relating to the disposal of surplus land laid down in Section 83 of the Local Government Act, 1946, and the matter has been referred back to the county council.
