asked the Minister for Local Government what the present position is of the proposal submitted by North Tipperary County Council to provide a water and sewerage scheme for Borrisokane and Cloughjordan districts.

Detailed plans of the proposed extension of the Borrisokane and Cloughjordan water and sewerage schemes are at present being prepared by Tipperary (N.R.) County Council. The council have been notified that such extension, if approved, would qualify for subsidy at the rate of 50% of the annual loan charges.
