I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that the only districts near Belgooly awaiting development under the Rural Electrification Scheme are in the Tracton rural area, which includes Nohoval parish. The Tracton rural area has been considered by the Board from time to time for selection for development but, so far, it has been unsuccessful. It will be reconsidered again within the next few weeks and if it is successful, construction work should commence during the summer.
