Vol. 187 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killarney Mental Hospital: Tralee Out-Patient Centre.

8.

asked the Minister for Health if his Department received a further application from Killarney Mental Hospital Visiting Committee for approval for the establishment of an out-patient treatment centre at Tralee for a period of six months; and, if so, if it is proposed to give the necessary sanction.

I received a recommendation from the Visiting Committee on the lines indicated by the Deputy. The question of the staffing of a clinic at Tralee is still the subject of correspondence with the local authority as I am not yet satisfied with the staffing proposed.
