Vol. 187 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tralee Dispensary.

3.

asked the Minister for Health if his Department received a tender from Kerry County Council for the erection of a dispensary at Tralee; and, if so, if he will indicate when it is likely to receive sanction.

Proposals for acceptance of a tender for the erection of a dispensary at Tralee have not been received in my Department as my sanction is not necessary.

It has been ascertained from the local authority that tenders were received last October, but it has not been possible to place a contract owing to delay in the completion of the legal formalities involved in the transfer of the site which was purchased by the county council from the Tralee Urban District Council. In the meantime, a loan for the purpose has already been approved by my Department.
