Vol. 188 No. 2

Written Answers. - Dublin Housing Applications.

46.

asked the Minister for Local Government the number of applications received by the Dublin County Council for housing accommodation, at the most recent date, in respect of each dispensary district (grouping dispensary districts in electoral areas), and the total number of applicants.

The information requested is not available in my Department.

I do not seek from housing authorities statistics of the numbers of applications for housing accommodation which they receive from time to time. Information furnished by housing authorities in conjunction with proposals for the erection of schemes is related to the ascertained needs of the area concerned.
