Vol. 189 No. 2

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper, Nos. 5, 11, 12, 13, 14—Votes 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28. It is proposed to interrupt business at 1 p.m. to take No. 14—Votes 23 to 28—and to resume the order at 2.30 p.m. Questions will be taken at 3 p.m. and it is proposed that consideration of Government Business be not interrupted at the time fixed for the taking of Private Members' Business.

May I inquire how there could be Private Members' time before 5 p.m.? Are we not rising at 5 p.m.?

We thought it safer to put it in, in case notice might be given to sit late.

I suppose, theoretically, if everything else is finished, we might go on to Private Members' Business.

If we have a good-humoured Opposition today, we shall rise at 5 p.m. I said it was proposed to interrupt business at 1 p.m.

To take the Votes.

It is proposed to interrupt business at 1 p.m. to take No. 14 and to resume the order at 2.30. Questions at 3 p.m.
