Vol. 189 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Trade with Iron Curtain Countries.

1.

asked the Taoiseach if any steps have been taken or considered which would tend to increase the volume of trade passing between this country and countries behind the Iron Curtain; and, if so, if he considers this trade to be in the interests of the country generally, and in what respects.

I would refer the Deputy to the answer I gave in this House on the 8th February to a Question concerning trade relations with other countries generally. There is at present nothing which I could usefully add to that reply.
