Vol. 190 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lifford Bridge.

21.

asked the Minister for Local Government if a firm decision has been arrived at with the Government of Northern Ireland as to the construction of a new bridge across the river at Lifford, County Donegal; and, if so, when construction will begin.

Full agreement has been reached between all parties concerned in the project for the reconstruction of the bridge at Lifford. Tenders for the scheme were invited on 14th April last, and tomorrow is the latest date for the receipt of tenders. I am not at present in a position to say when the work will begin.
