I would refer the Deputy to the reply given by me to a similar question on the 16th May, 1961. I am not yet in a position to say when it will be possible for the Board to announce the terms of the scheme. Consideration of the general questions arising in relation to pension schemes in consequence of the enactment of the Social Welfare (Amendment) Act, 1960 is proceeding but is not yet completed. It is advisable to await the result of this examination before proceeding with the Bord na Móna Scheme.
